It is often referred to as the Omega Aqua Terra, although the model is actually called the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, and was introduced to the Seamaster family back in 2002. This highly wearable steel watch becomes the bridge between formal and casual attire in leisure contexts, as the Omega Aqua Terra carries both the elegance of a dress watch, as well as the robust and water-resistant qualities of a true sports watch.
The clean lines of the steel case enclose one of Omega's chronometer-certified co-axial movements. The dial is smooth with wedge-shaped indices and substantial arrow hands characteristic of the model. The screw-down crown gives the watch a water resistance of 150 metres and, on a steel link, makes it a very useful holiday watch, well suited to both swimming and pleasant dinners. The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra first sat on James Bond's wrist in 2012 in the film Skyfall, and today comes in a wide variety of case materials and colours. In 2009, a model with a chronograph was introduced.
