Three summer jackets (and three ways to wear them)
When you invest in your summer wardrobe, it is easy to forget the need for a jacket. But when the evening turns to night or the weather changes, it is a summer jacket that comes to the rescue. We will offer three examples of summer jackets and how you wear them.

The ultimate jacket to wear during the summer is of course no jacket at all. But, because the sun doesn’t always shine, and the cool air creeps in during the evening, it’s therefore important to add an extra layer to your outfit. We have chosen three jackets and will show you how to wear them during the summer months.
Denim Jacket
First, we have chosen a true classic, the denim jacket. It has been around for a long time, but it is still popular and relevant. The denim jacket can be sourced in many different versions, meaning that you can find the one that fits perfect to your personal style. We have chosen to focus on the classic design with double chest pockets and the simple collar. Wear it together with a pair of blue jeans and loafers for an updated version of the double denim style.
Raincoat
No one likes to think about the fact that the summer months contains their fair share of rainy days. When you are creating your summer wardrobe, it is easy to forget about the raincoat and just wear any jacket when the heavens open. We would like to change this, because there are many stylish and functional raincoats. Stutterheim’s Stockholm model is part of this category. The Swedish brand creates minimalistic and stylish rainwear. The result is a raincoat that keeps you dry and stylish.
Safari Jacket
With roots in the British Army, the safari jacket’s design originated from the need for a practical, lightweight and breathable garment for soldiers in Africa during the early 1900’s. The jacket’s open collar allowed the cool air to enter, and four pockets which allowed the soldiers to have a plenitude of storage and the belt helped to keep the garment in place during long marches. After being introduced into the fashion world by Yves Saint Laurent, the garment fast became a popular summer alternative to the blazer. If you want to wear it best, just follow the example and treat it like a blazer. Like the blazer, it works with everything from a tie to a t-shirt, however, we have chosen a middle ground and combine it with a pair of formal chinos, a washed denim shirt and suede sneakers.
