As one of the world’s few remaining independent watchmakers, Sweden’s Sjöö Sandström offers something truly unique. Their distinctly Scandinavian blend of minimalism and innovation is truly a joy to behold. Every timepiece is handmade by experienced watchmakers in Stockholm, Sweden, before undergoing the most meticulous of quality control processes.

The company was established in 1986 by two enthusiasts with a desire to combine traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology. There had been a time when Sweden was renowned for its clockmaking expertise, and even outstripped Switzerland in the production of marine chronographs. With their newly established, eponymous company, Christer Sjöö and Mikael Sandström aimed to breathe new life into this proud tradition.
