Leave the umbrella canopy open after use and let it dry fully to prevent creases and rust build-up. Once dry, the canopy should be rolled up by first gently freeing any fabric that may have become trapped in the ribs before evening out the fabric using a circular motion. Persistent exposure to heat and sunlight can cause the canopy to fade and lose its elasticity.
