Manchester-based Baracuta was established in 1937 by brothers John and Isaac Miller. The following year, chief of the Fraser Clan Lord Lovat XXIV of Beaufort Castle granted the brothers permission to use the iconic Fraser Tartan in the lining of their classic G9 Harrington jacket.
In the spring of 2013, the Baracuta name was acquired by Italian firm WP Lavori. Since then, the new owners have made certain changes to the classic jackets, using technologically advanced materials and creating a more contemporary fit.
