Founded in 1938 by Walter Hubacher, Armor-lux is one of the few remaining producers of Breton fabrics that remain in the French region of Brittany. Finding inspiration in the archives of maritime design, the brand has found success with its authentic and durable horizontally striped jumpers, also known as marinière-jumpers.

We often hear that the beloved Breton stripe has had something of a renaissance in recent years, but the question is if it ever really went out of style? Around a century after it first became fashionable thanks to the efforts of Coco Chanel, this nautical jumper is still a much-loved garment, especially during the spring and summer months.
