The art of combining function and finesse has long been something of an Italian speciality, and Herno is considered by many to be the country's foremost name in outerwear. The family business has been in the fashion industry since the mid 20^th century, and is known for its innovation, waterproof fabrics, and body-hugging fits.

Surrounded by the clear Alpine waters of the Lake Maggiore, it seems only natural that Herno would specialise in the production of waterproof fabrics. These fabrics are then transformed into functional outerwear for the urban environment.
