We often suggest inspiring styles, but we rarely encourage exploration beyond that, which goes against convention. We don't want to point fingers or say what's right or wrong, but the fact is that there are some style mistakes that are worth paying attention to, regardless of style preferences.
We are all aware that styles come and go, below we list five style mistakes that will at least make the style-conscious raise their eyebrows in 2024. In the end, it is you who decides your personal style and there is no right nor wrong, but the main thing is that you feel comfortable in the clothes you wear.
In the world of fashion, no garment has experienced such pendulum swings as jeans. Over a 20-year span, we've witnessed a radical shift from tight, almost skin-tight jeans to oversized designs. With their slim fit and youthful appeal, skinny jeans have truly captured the atmosphere of the eras. However, today the model is not as relevant, unless you happen to be named Mick Jagger or Pete Wentz, that is. Trends change quickly, not least when it comes to jeans. Right now, we're moving towards a more relaxed style, where comfort and versatility are prioritised over tight designs.
Not sure which jeans suit you? To our jeans guide.
Socks in loafers are a classic choice, but it's important to choose the right type of socks. Wearing ankle socks that show above the edge of the shoe just doesn't look very nice. Instead, you should wear socks with a high shaft or "no-show" socks. With high socks, there is also the opportunity to experiment with both colours and materials - as long as the socks have a high enough shaft where we don't have to see the skin gap between the sock and the trousers, so to speak.

The title speaks for itself. Although the most style-conscious can hardly believe their eyes, it is actually true that this style mistake has been noticed. The dress shirt is both versatile and elegant, but recommended to be tucked into the trousers for a more polished look. There are a number of other shirts that are perfect when untucked, but the dress shirt is not one of them, unfortunately.
There is a wide range of fitness watches on the market today. These watches are both practical and stylish, making them useful accessories even outside the gym or running track. However, a line must be drawn. Wearing a fitness watch with a more formal outfit is actually something that should be avoided. As important as it is to choose the right shoes for the suit, it is just as important to choose the right accessories. A fitness watch is not really suitable for such occasions. So if you're considering leaving your fitness watch at home when you're going to a finer event - don't hesitate.
