The Gloverall brand and their winter jackets were born from the fantastic duffle coats that kept the British Armed Forces warm during the Second World War. The design was created out of practical needs to keep the wearer warm in very harsh weather conditions, while the garment would be comfortable to wear. Over the years, a duffle as well as a peacoat from Gloverall have become popular staples and earned a given place in many well-dressed men's winter wardrobes. The style has been updated and refined into the best possible balance. This season we have the great pleasure to present three unique jackets from Gloverall, made in England specially designed for Care of Carl. Below we give you three examples of how you can make them a natural part of your own wardrobe.
This peacoat has been around for a while, but for this year's winter collection, we have had the pleasure of offering the garment with a warm, shearling collar. A black peacoat can be worn in a variety of ways, from a more monochrome style, including formal shoes and pleated trousers, to black or grey jeans, a polo shirt, sneakers and a baseball cap.

We have made this version of Gloverall's classic duffle in the wool fabric that Gloverall normally uses in their overcoats, which gives the garment an elegant feeling of understated luxury. The garment will be a little lighter than the classic duffle and therefore also a more versatile in terms of style. Wear it with everything from blazers and flannel trousers, to jeans, chinos with loafers or sneakers.

This wool gives the garment an interesting and very distinct texture, which in turn gives your entire garment a very clear identity.
