Book
No every has nature around the corner. Do you need inspiration before your next journey, then the book Kinfolk – Travel is an excellent starting point.
Cargo Trousers
Cargo trousers are a classic outdoor garment. The spacious pockets on the thighs are the perfect place to store maps, snacks and other things to make your journey easier.
Thermal Underwear
If you dress using the layer-on-layer principle, then thermal underwear are the base for the whole idea. Quality thermal underwear that quickly transport moisture away from the skin, helps to keep the wearer both dry and warm.
Shell Jacket
If thermal underwear is the foundation, then the shell jacket is the walls and roof. Made from a durable material and the Gore-Tex water-resistant membrane it protects you from the elements.
Moisturising Cream
After a day in the nature you expose your face to a lot of distress. Applying a moisturising cream can be a good way to mitigate the discomfort and reduce any inflammation that may occur.
Water Bottle
It’s important to keep your liquid levels topped up when one is out walking. A titanium water bottle is very durable and weights barely anything.
Cap
A cap is an easy way to keep one’s hair in check. Active Check from Varsity is made from a synthetic blend and helps to transport moisture away from the forehead.
Gloves
Even the hands should be kept warm and dry. With a pair of durable leather gloves on your hands, then this is no problem.
Hiking Sneakers
Hiking sneakers should be seen as a lightweight alternative to boots. Suitable for those who want to get around quickly without compromising on stability and grip.
Down Vest
As long as the rain stays away, a lightweight down vest is the perfect companion on cold days. Should the rain arrive, it also acts as a warming layer between the base layer and a shell jacket.
Camping Table
Are you planning on preparing or serving food, then it can be nice to not have to do it on the ground. A small, collapsible camping table doesn’t take up much space and can be attached to a rucksack.
Camping Chair
Those who are comfortable with themselves probably also think it's nice to not have to sit on the ground. A camping chair from Snow Peak, despite its luxurious design, weighs only 3.5kg and can therefore easily transported to the campsite.
Fleece Jumper
If we continue to talk about the layer-on-layer principle, then a fleece jumper must represent the insulation of the house. Protected by the other garments, it is its responsibility to keep the wearer comfortable and warm.
Rucksack
The rucksack is the best way to store and transport the things you bring with you out into the nature. If it is made from a water-resistant nylon fabric, it will also keep the contents dry.
Shoulder Bag
It can be annoying to have to take a rucksack on and off every time you have to find something. A small shoulder bag is therefore be a good accessory where important things can be stored easily and be accessible.
Umbrella
If you do not trust a jacket to keep dry, a small lightweight umbrella can be a good addition to pack.
Down Jacket
The down jacket can be worn both as a warming intermediate layer in combination with a water-resistant shell jacket. If, on the other hand, as in this case, it is treated with a DWR coating (Durable Water Repellent), it can be worn as the outer layer and still withstand rain and wet snow.
