Published 2024-07-02Below we have compiled six practical tips for when you should rinse and clean your sunglasses. Everything to avoid scratches and give them an extended life.
How to rinse and care for your sunglasses:
1.
When you clean your sunglasses, use a microfiber cloth and wash them if necessary with lukewarm water and detergent/cleaning spray for glasses.
2.
Try not to clean your sunglasses using your clothes as this can scratch the lens.
3.
Avoid cleaning the sunglasses with window cleaner or similar products that contain alcohol, as there is a risk that the alcohol may discolour the frames.
4.
Store your glasses in a case when you're not using them to avoid scratches and other damage.
5.
Avoid storing your glasses in high temperatures, such as on the dashboard of the car or by the window. They can lose their shape.
6.
Avoid wearing the sunglasses on your head as this can stretch the temples, and the risk of the temples breaking during readjustment is high.
